Orison - Rooftop Landingpads
My main responsibility for the 3.14 release was to create all kinds of landingpads and rooftops that could be placed all over the landingszone. With the climate in Orison being much more inviting compared to previous landingzones, the scope of what makes sense to have on such a rooftop could also be expanded to include luxurious gardens and the like. So I was tasked with creating a set that could fill that gap which included everything from early technical exploration to final art. These were a blast to work on :D!

This Rooftop was really the starting point. The general layout was based on a concept by Chris Doretz. And from that point it served as a testing ground for how these rooftops would be put together.
Adding balconies and some new garden furniture was pretty much an instant win.
This entrance building also became a staple of the rooftops and other areas aswell.
Really enjoyed figuring out the shapes and details on this one
The Two levels of the garden are much closer together then the other places where I used other variations of this entrance building...
...So a custom interior with a staircase instead of elevators made more sense and looked nicer :)
The patios also became a recurring element...
....with size variations...
...and some different surrounding elements.
All of these Landinpad Rooftops include a little maintainance area, that is tucked away somehow as to not offend the eyes of the orison residents :P
Not sure if these pointy trees will keep unwanted guests from landing....
...but its worth a try
The largest of them all...
...comes with a pond.
